Psychedelic Integration Group Guidelines
Psychedelic Integration Group Guidelines
To maintain a safe and supportive community, all participants are asked to read and agree to these guidelines before attending a meeting. Anyone who does not follow these guidelines will be removed.
Confidentiality is paramount. What is shared in the group stays in the group. This is a non-negotiable rule to create a truly safe space for everyone.
Use a private space. Be in a room where you can have your video on and speak freely without being overheard. This protects both your privacy and the confidentiality of others.
Commit to presence. Turn off or mute all other devices and disconnect from other activities to be fully present with the group.
Use a comfortable name. You may use your first name only or a pseudonym if you prefer.
Practice active listening. When others are sharing, give them your full attention without interrupting.
Speak from your own experience. Use "I" statements ("I felt...", "My experience was...") to avoid making generalizations or speaking for others.
Communicate respectfully. Maintain a non-judgmental and compassionate attitude toward yourself and others. This includes asking questions with the journeyer's permission and out of genuine curiosity, not to offer advice or psychoanalyze.
Give space for everyone. Be mindful of your sharing time to ensure everyone has a chance to speak. The facilitator will help manage this.
Do not promote businesses. This is a personal space for sharing and connection. Please omit details that may promote or sell your business, products, or services.
No illegal activities. We do not encourage or condone illegal activities, including the purchase, sale, transfer, or use of any illegal substances.
This is not therapy. This group is a peer-supported space for integration, not a substitute for professional therapy or medical advice.
Focus on integration. The purpose of the group is to help you make sense of your experiences and integrate insights into your daily life.
Harm reduction is key. This group supports a harm reduction philosophy, focusing on minimizing potential risks and maximizing well-being.
Seek professional support when needed. If you are navigating a difficult experience, a personal crisis, or a mental health challenge, please seek support from a qualified professional.
